Good to hear Greyhound is coming back to St Albans. That helps many of us who dont own vehicles (theres plenty of adults like me who dont). Its not just college kids! Thank you to everyone who helped bring Greyhound back. Now we have some great public transit options here--Amtrak, Greyhound, and Green Mountain Transit.

Mayor Tim Smith. What are you going to do to help Protect the disabled community. Lot of us with disabilities are not able to fight back or run away. Pluse you have Deaf people living her I. St.albans. I do t feel that is safe around her especially for the disabled people.

What happen to the people that walked around st.albans during the summer? We need to go back to that.

A roundabout is a HUGE mistake for Exit 19. Use the 3 lane design instead. St. Albans drivers have a tough enough time with a two way stop sign.

I loved what the man with the hat Jurassic Park outfit was saying and I was pleased so many people showed up and spoke up today! I was shocked to learn we have Tranq as one of the problem drugs, that’s really scary because children will get ahold of that if they haven’t already yet, and saddened that the homeless/junkie problem has moved to Hard’ack. I also hope it doesn’t take 10 years to resolve the issues we are having now, because if it does then nothing of value is actually being done. I’m tired of seeing once a beautiful quiet town turn into something that’s on its way to being like Burlington and it’s going to happen fast considering how quickly it’s already gotten to where it is just in the last year or so.

I will love to see more of these meetings with non-white as part of the conversation.

For those who don’t know, there are many citizens willing to put boots on the ground and keep an eye out for things going on in our town. I also hope to see everyone and more on the 18th!

Mike McCarthy is part of the problem, he votes in line with the Progressive whack jobs of Chittenden County that have made this problem. Someone please run against him in November. This problem is only going to get worse when they fill that ridiculous apartment building on Lake Street.

The drug comment has got me. How can you say St Albans pushed to swanton and swanton has pushed to Highgate. Your try to make Highgate a city anyway. Sanctuaries that you're calling 55 and up communities, water lines coming in to grow the town, Tesla chargers bus stops sidewalks that no one uses the list goes on. If you're really concerned about drugs in a small town stop growing a small town into a city so the population comes here. Take a look at the chaos she got reported now your own tractor got vandalized. I guarantee you that was somebody out of town well now that they can ride four wheelers from town to town to town makes it a little easier to get drugs and destruct things. He's in the officer himself says we can't do anything to him We can't write tickets cuz it doesn't solve anything, the board member himself says I know that there isn't much we can do because the system's not going to do anything to The individuals that are breaking the rules. These board meetings are supposed to reinsure the town that the decisions being made are for the good. I just can't get behind the whole drug, stop growing a tiny town into a big city stop inviting the drugs.

Brenden is putting words into Tim Smith’s mouth regarding the less than desirable drug population. It appears Mr. Deso had an agenda when inviting Tim to the meeting.

Brendan Deso is an embarrassment to the Town of St. Albans and should apologize at the next board meeting for his beyond-rude behavior. Brendan acted in a childish manner unbecoming of an experienced selectboard member (and former chair). If Brendan can't act more civil he should move on from the board as soon as possible. Brendan, STA Town also doesn't want drug dealers in our community either and agree with the STA Mayor, apparently you do Brendan? That is on the meeting record Brendan. Brendan when you hear that the CIty and Town are unable to work together and wonder why, Sir just look in the mirror!

The Mobil gas station sign out near Hannaford is an eyesore and grabs attention, will you ask them to remove that sign? Sounds like the board is discriminating against the cannabis business. If you didn’t want her business in the Town then you should have told them that from the beginning. Instead, you’re asking them to half-@$$ their attempt to run their business.

Unreal…heaven forbid a business be allowed to have a sign that grabs attention.

@58:27 Mr. Cloud says that the appraisal company will make your value higher if they can’t get in? Is that right? Is that to penalize the homeowner?

An idea for getting accurate information out to community members could be that each school Admin. Assistant sends out an email to all people on their email lists with a live link to these meetings. I will also share it on my own personal Facebook page and our BES page.

With all due respect to Mr. McWilliams, it obvious he’s not keeping up with town activity and is just running for ego purposes. Mr. Deslaurier and Mr. Bringham are doing fine in their positions. McWilliams has already served…time to allow others to do the same.

It would have made zero sense for INS to stay in St. Albans since most of the employees are remote.

No one’s house doubled in value. But for the sake of argument, let’s say it did. That doesn’t mean anything to the home owner if they don’t plan on selling and moving away. We don’t receive dividends for an increase in home value. The only thing it does is increase our taxes. One of Vermont’s largest employers are now remote employees. What’s the incentive for them to stay in this state?
